
St. Pete Beach Seafood & Music Festival Set Feb. 1-3
The fest features freshly-cooked foods and great live musical performances topped with a marketplace of arts and crafts.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Want fun and relaxation for the weekend? Let your taste buds guide you to some delicious freshly-made foods, your ears to spectacular live musical performances by top Florida musicians and your eyes to shopping amidst a marketplace of arts, crafts and select fine products. Where? The 2nd Annual St. Pete Beach Seafood & Music Festival on Corey Avenue in downtown St. Pete Beach on Feb. 1-3.
Begin relaxing Friday. Food booths are open starting at noon with the live music kicking off from 4pm – 10pm. Food and music continue Saturday 11am – 10pm and Sunday 11am – 6pm. Admission is FREE so — enjoy all three days!!! The event is produced by Paragon Festivals in association with the Corey Area Business Association.
For food, choose from a variety of seafood, meat and vegetarian dishes all cooked fresh on site by local restaurants and food purveyors. Seafood dishes are prepared using only the freshest local and sustainable ocean resources from the Florida Gulf Coast. Select from a diversity of side dishes and of course – awesome desserts! Liquid refreshments include alcoholic drinks and both non-alcoholic and fruit drinks.
While dining, listen to some of Florida’s top musical groups in genres such as R&B, blues, jazz, rock and Caribbean sounds. Performers Friday night are: Mike Tozier (country, folk, Delta blues), The New Rulers (ska, reggae, soul, rocksteady), and the Bob Marley Tribute Band featuring Yvad, former lead singer of the Wailers (reggae). Rocking the event on Saturday are: Kettle of Fish (rock), CeCe Teneal & Soul Kamotion (blues, soul, roots), the Billy Rice Band (country rock), Reverend Barry & The Funk (funk, soul), and the Caribbean Chillers (Jimmy Buffet Tribute Band). Sunday performers are: theSarasota Steel Pan Band (calypso, reggae, Latin, Brazilian), Twinkle & Rock Soul Radio (rock, soul), the Black Honkeys Band (funk, rock, R&B) and the U.S. Stones (Rolling Stones Tribute Band).
In the breaks between the live performances, shop a marketplace of fine arts, crafts, and select fine products and food items.
This is Plan A! All you need do is come and partake in the festivities! Remember: YOU are the most important ingredient!
NOTE: to assist with event parking and free yourself from parking hassles, we encourage you to use the wonderful transport options of Free Beach Ride, the Free Island Hopper, Uber and Lyft. They will get you to the event site and back to your car, while you sit back and ….. relax!
