Tampa Bay History Center

Raise a glass with Dad this Father’s Day at the Tampa Bay History Center.

Head down to the museum at 801 Old Water St. in Tampa on Sunday, June 16, to check out the exhibit “History by the Pint: Beer and Brewing in Tampa Bay,” and get a free souvenir History Center pint glass with paid adult admission while supplies last.

And while the free pint glass might be empty, fear not. Local favorite Coppertail Brewing will offer tastings of its Free Dive IPA from noon until 2 p.m. at the history center.

Enjoy a beer while listening to singing troubadour Bill Schustik perform sea shanties and pirate tunes in the History Center galleries at 11:30 a.m., 12:30 and 1:30 p.m.

Dads will also get 15 percent off select items at the museum store.

Clearwater Beach Escape Room

Let Dad escape for a while at the Clearwater Beach Escape Room on Father’s Day.

Take on an immersive experience together and choose one of eight scenarios to conquer within 60 minutes. Dads are admitted free using the online booking code DadPlaysFree.

The Escape Room is located in Pelican Walk Plaza, second floor, 483 Mandalay, Suite 210, Clearwater Beach. Hours on Father’s Day are 8 a.m. to 1 a.m.

The Florida Aquarium

Check out the newly opened Moon Bay touch experience at the Florida Aquarium, 701 Channelside Drive, Tampa.

The new exhibit, which opened June 8, gives visitors a chance to touch a moon jelly, a type of jellyfish with no sting.

The almost 2,000-gallon habitat has two separate pools where the jellies can be touched. The pools come together at a 3-foot acrylic sphere, where the alien-looking, virtually transparent invertebrates can be observed. 

Dads get free admission all weekend with the purchase of any full-price paid admission.

ZooTampa

Celebrate Father’s Day at ZooTampa, 1101 W. Sligh Ave., Tampa, June 15-16 where dads get in free with the purchase of one full-priced, single-day admission.

Dad and kids can visit with the zoo’s famous fathers including Goyang the orangutan, Albert the tapir and Heathcliff the koala.

Pay tribute to Dad by symbolically adopting a zoo animal in Dad’s name orbook an up-close encounter for Dad with an African elephant, southern white rhino or giant Aldabra tortoise.

Tampa Bay Automobile Museum

For the gearhead dad, the Tampa Bay Automobile Museum, 3301 Gateway Centre Blvd., Pinellas Park, is offering free admission for Dad with one regular-priced ticket.

The 12,000-square-foot museum features a unique collection of vintage cars and vehicles that demonstrate special creativity and imagination in their history and engineering. They include pioneering front-wheel drive and rear engine cars from the 1920s and 1930s. Each vehicle was chosen based on the engineering achievements that made it an important part of the evolution of the automobile.

Busch Gardens

Celebrate Father’s Day at Busch Gardens where the park will serve a special Father’s Day brunch at the Serengeti Overlook Restaurant on Sunday starting at 11:30 a.m. Dad will be treated to a free beer.

Glazer Children’s Museum

Is Dad a firefighter, engineer, farmer, banker, artist, boat captain, doctor or veterinarian?
