
Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office To Host Career Fair Feb. 28

LARGO, FL — The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office is hosting a career fair for current openings within the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.
The career fair will take place Thursday, Feb. 28 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Pinellas Sheriff’s Administration Building, 10750 Ulmerton Road in Largo.
The Pinellas Sheriff’s Office has current openings for: ARMS Data Assistant, Child Protection Investigation Trainee, Criminal Justice Specialist, certified Detention Deputy, Detention Deputy Recruit, Fiscal Specialist, Fleet Technician II, Information Technologist, Inmate Records Specialist, certified Law Enforcement Deputy, certified Law Enforcement Deputy – Bailiff Section, Licensed Practical Nurse, PST/Dispatcher and School Crossing Guard.
Applicants must complete a successful background investigation which includes:
* Polygraph examination
* Nicotine, tobacco and drug screen, and medical examination
* Previous employer reference verification and personal reference check
* Criminal history check and fingerprinting
* Education verification
* Credit check (applicable for some positions)
* Psychological evaluation (applicable for some positions)
