Largo’s 4th Of July Fireworks: 2019 Guide, Family Celebration

LARGO, FL — The City of Largo will host a Fourth of July celebrationfeaturing a fireworks show starting at 9:15 p.m. July 4.

Presented by Indian Rocks Baptist Church and Indian Rocks Christian School, the event will take place starting at 6 p.m. at Largo Central Park, 201 Highland Ave., with inflatables, a video game truck, face painting, backyard games, races, a photo booth, balloon animals, a pie-eating contest, food and live entertainment.

This will also be Largo’s first ocean-friendly event. In an effort to protect marine life, the Largo City Commission voted in January to ban single-use plastic items. Beginning on July 1, Styrofoam™ products, plastic plates and cups and single-use plastic straws will no longer be used on city property including special events.

Admission is free but wrist bands for the inflatables and video truck are $10. On-site parking is $10 (cash only). Parking at Largo High School is $5.

For the safety of everyone, no alcohol, coolers, pets, personal fireworks or sparklers will be permitted in the park.
